Cooprogetti, as part of a temporary consortium (RTP) with MATE, is developing the project for the Tyrrhenian Cycle Route, a cycling itinerary of approximately 930 km crossing Liguria, Tuscany and Lazio and connecting territories, cities and infrastructure along the coast. The coastal landscape becomes the guiding thread of a network of connections integrating mobility, the environment and urban settings. Within this vision, cycling offers a means of enhancing the territory, encouraging a slower and more accessible experience of places and restoring connections between areas often separated by urban development and infrastructure. The Tyrrhenian Cycle Route thus goes beyond its function as a transport link: it is a territorial project that brings landscape and mobility together, fostering new ways of experiencing the coast.
