The project includes the recovery of the exterior façades, the reorganisation of the interior spaces, and other interventions that will enhance the building’s historical and architectural heritage. Palazzo Archita will be a point of reference not only for the school and cultural system (it houses the Liceo Archita and the University), but also for artistic enjoyment, thanks to the planned establishment of the municipal art gallery in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, and the expansion of the MarTa Museum. In addition, the palazzo will be able to host the ‘Biennale of Architecture and Contemporary Art’, on the basis of the agreement signed a few months ago with the same Ministry and the Apulia Region, which are committed to supporting the redevelopment of Palazzo Archita.
