As part of the series of STEAM technical workshops promoted by AIDIA Reggio Calabria, on 17 April 2026 the workshop “Public Works: From Tender to Project, Essential Toolkit for STEAM Female Professionals” was held at the DGIES Department (Law, Economics and Human Sciences – Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria), curated by Arch. Elisa Crimi, Head of DIPG – Diversity, Inclusion and Gender Equality at Cooprogetti.
The workshop provided participants with practical tools to navigate the Public Works process, from reading tender documents to preparing technical proposals, through an operational and interactive approach. Through case studies and guided exercises, the young professionals were able to experience the analysis of a tender and the development of a project proposal, acquiring skills directly applicable in their professional context.
The experience represented an opportunity to strengthen both technical competencies and professional awareness among the participants, within a broader framework of female empowerment in the public works sector.
