Hospital Center in Lucca

The New San Luca Hospital Complex is a flexible and innovative acute care facility with high-level technological and care systems, capable of guaranteeing high quality services in a short time. It has been designed as a place of welcome, hope and care, with soothing and comfortable environments, capable of facilitating the performance of activities in full efficiency and safety. The ground floor, for the functions that are open to the public, is designed around the large central hall, and opens onto the inner courtyard. The reception area and the Cup (Unified Reservation Center) are located near the entrance, the Hemodialysis departments, the Outpatient Clinics, The Endoscopic and Orthopedic Poles, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy, and the Transfusion Center are distributed in the plate, around the Emergency Department with the short Observation Ward. The first floor of the plate is organized around the large interior space with shops, cafeterias, bank counters,  collective areas and worship spaces. Day hospital, Day Service, and Emergency Medicine are located here. The Delivery Block, the Oncology Day Hospital, and the Maternity and Child Care Wards with Obstetrics, Nursery, Pediatrics, and Neonatal Sub-Intensive Care. The second floor is the surgery level: there are the Operating Block with recovery room, Hemodynamics, Intensive and sub-intensive care, Day surgery and Surgery wards as well as 12 beds for protected hospitalization.  The third floor is dedicated to the Medical inpatient wards, in addition to the directional-departmental area consisting of meeting rooms and medical offices, single and in open space.
