Identification and management strategy of the main industrial effluents and other polluting sources of the Katari river basin in the municipalities of the El Alto, Viacha, Laja and Pucarani. The remediation program for Lake Titicaca (the highest navigable lake in the world at a height of 3,812 m above sea level) will also contribute to the decontamination of the river basin of the Katari River and Lake Titicaca.

Cooprogetti will establish the bases and directives for the environmental management of the industrial effluents and other sources identified as main polluting agents of the superficial and underground water bodies of the Katari river basin, while creating a preventive, mitigating, reduction and environmental remediation strategy for the Katari river basin and the municipalities involved in the study, based on the principles of clean production and good environmental practices.
