Work is progressing at the San Pietro complex in Gubbio, with the completion of the last two floors of the car park expected by early 2026 — a timeline announced during an on-site inspection attended by Cooprogetti, represented by Engineer Marco Salvi in his capacity as project director — as well as on the completion of the new premises of the municipal nursery “Il Cerbiatto”. The designers, Architect Sonia Alunno and Engineer/Architect Edoardo Filippetti of Cooprogetti, oversaw both the PTFE and the executive design of the project. The nursery is a modern, safe, and efficient facility, seamlessly integrated with the neighbouring San Pietro gym through a careful study of the façades and external spaces. The nursery’s relocation will free up space in the current premises, which will be converted into the municipal archive, ensuring functionality while respecting the historical context. This is an example of integrated design, where architecture, safety, and sustainability converge to create high-quality public spaces, designed for the community and future generations.
