The new Sibari school is born from a clear design vision: to create an educational space that is open, safe, and integrated with the community. As highlighted by architect Antonella Strati of Cooprogetti, the demolition and reconstruction project, funded through the PNRR, goes beyond simply replacing an outdated building—it shapes a contemporary school architecture that meets the evolving needs of teaching while offering flexible, inclusive, and functional environments. The project, which includes both the elementary and middle schools, consists of a single two-story building set in a green landscape, where classrooms, laboratories, and common areas are connected to promote learning, social interaction, and well-being. The new building stands out for its high standards of safety and environmental sustainability, thanks to the use of materials and technologies that ensure significant energy savings. It is a project that interprets the school as a place of growth, relationships, and community, capable of looking toward the future of the territory.
