A “Green Hospital” immersed in 10 hectares of green area, characterised by 1,600 trees and 18,000 m² of shrubs, will host 433 beds and will have capacity for 1,300 parking spaces: the new Bufalini Hospital in Cesena. The new Bufalini hospital will represent a centre of excellence for healthcare, designed on an area of 18 hectares, 433 beds and a large “green lung” of 100,000 m². In addition to 1303 beds and 15 robotic operating theatres, the hospital will be located in a strategic position in Villachiaviche. Great attention will be paid to environmental sustainability, with a ‘green’ structure perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape, and to the efficient management of patient and staff flows.
Cooprogetti, in a grouping with Studio Altieri S.p.A (group leader), Roberto Ravegnani Morosini, SANI Società di Ingegneria Srl, F&M Ingegneria SpA, and GPA Partners, signed the Final Project of this new hospital pole of excellence.
