Today, 10 October, the event ‘Digital Information Management of the new public contracts code: efficiency and transparency’ was held at SAIE Bologna.
Among the speakers was Arch. Elisa Crimi, Technical Director of Cooprogetti and Coordinator of the OICE Working Group ‘Standard Information Specifications’. In her speech, she highlighted how BIM is radically transforming the design logic in engineering and architecture companies, illustrating both the changes and the opportunities. The architect also emphasised how Oice, for many years, has been promoting a constructive and collaborative debate on the issue of digital information management, involving all stakeholders in the sector, also through concrete actions such as the drafting and publication of its Standard Information Specifications. Finally, it has highlighted how the Oice specifications published on its website at the beginning of 2024, represent a concrete support for all economic operators, with particular reference to medium-small Contracting Stations, which, with Legislative Decree 36/2023, will be called upon to compulsorily use BIM for an increasing number of projects starting from 1 January 2025. In this context, collaboration between all players in the supply chain will be crucial to successfully tackle this digital revolution.
