On Tuesday, June 20, a participatory meeting was held in the Council Chamber of the Palazzo degli Elefanti to explore what the Integrated Urban Plans provide for the redevelopment of the city. Elisa Crimi, Enrico Costa for Cooprogetti along with Raffaele Gerometta, Daniel Tiozzo, Gianluca Coccia for Mate Engineering were present at the presentation.
The works involve the construction of the Urban Park between Republic Square, Maddem Street, Grenoble Square; the extension of the tree-lined axis and bike path of Via Di Prima; redevelopment (pedestrian and green compensation islands) are also planned in Corso Sicilia and in the areas of the Metro/FCE line exits; green and paved public spaces between Via Pistone and Via delle Finanze; and the diffusa redevelopment of the internal pedestrian and bike paths and viability of Corso Sicilia.
