Tirrenica Cycle Route Lotto 2b Toscana

The project of the Tirrenica Cycle Route develops for a total length of 930 kilometers and crosses 3 Regions, 11 Provinces, and 114 Municipalities involving a vast and complex territory both from the urban and environmental point of view. The Regions of Tuscany (leader), Liguria, and Lazio affected by the route, given the complexity of the work to be carried out, have considered starting a collaboration through an agreement and the establishment of a technical table. The Regions also play an important “pivotal” role in the programming and implementation phase between the national cycling tourism network, coordinated by MIMS, and the local network of which they are the main promoters, together with the municipalities, for the construction of the infrastructure dedicated to daily mobility, home-work, home-school, in addition to tourism.
