Relocation of the ‘Il Cerbiatto’ Kindergarten in Gubbio

The project envisages the relocation of the municipal crèche ‘Il Cerbiatto’ from its current historical premises in the San Pietro monumental complex, which cannot be adapted to the new safety standards, to a new facility located about 200 metres away, in the ‘San Pietro Multi-storey Car Park’ in Via Fonte Avellana. The new building, owned by the municipality, is a modern structure, fully accessible and equipped with convenient parking spaces, as well as being close to an adjoining public garden in which a space for the exclusive use of the service will be identified. The building will feature a brick façade, sober and in harmony with the surrounding historical context, integrating the nursery school into the heart of Gubbio’s historical centre. The result will be a safe, functional and energy efficient structure, benefiting families and the local community.
