Redevelopment of the Corradino municipal villa
The project involves the creation of a ‘Sicilian garden’ along the entire Viale Corradino, designed for the enjoyment and redevelopment of this panoramic axis, enhancing the view of the Mausoleum located at the end of the avenue. The intervention covered an area of 3800 square metres, including a tree-lined avenue and a lane for light traffic, paved in lava stone. New green areas with Mediterranean shrubs were added, creating Sicilian-inspired gardens. Around the Mausoleum, additional green spaces, benches, seating and a rainwater recovery system were created. The existing artistic lighting was also upgraded and a video surveillance system installed.
