Purification plant of Punta Vagno

The Purification plan of Punta Vagno is one of the largest sewage treatment plants in the city of Genova. The plant has been existing for over thirty years and needs a radical revamping project of existing equipment, an extension of the potential and the adaptation of the treatment process to new technologies and finally to respond to the more restrictive limits of current regulations. The plant is completely hidden from view thanks to its underground construction, by the sea below an urban area dedicated to park.
