Park of the Tonnara San Giuliano in Punta Tipa

The project of the Urban Park of the trap of San Giuliano concerns the redevelopment and recovery of a portion of the coast of Trapani called Punta Tipa, north of the urban center. The high naturalistic and landscape value, together with the presence of plant essences at high risk of extinction, makes conservation the primary objective of the intervention.
The ruins of the Tonnara di S. Giuliano represent a historical testimony of industrial architecture. The aim of the intervention is the formulation of a project proposal that combines the satisfaction of the needs of conservation and environmental enhancement with those of functionality and architectural-landscape qualification of the site.
