LICAM High School. Demolition and Reconstruction Project
The project for the new school building in Via Torino in Aosta involves the demolition of the existing building and the construction of a safe, inclusive and sustainable school that complies with the most advanced anti-seismic, energy efficiency and accessibility standards. The architecture, well integrated into the urban context, promotes permeability and connection with the territory, guaranteeing modern, flexible and bright teaching spaces. The layout distributes classrooms, laboratories and common areas in a functional way, favouring interaction between inside and outside thanks to glass surfaces and innovative spatial solutions. The building is designed for maximum environmental comfort and energy saving, adopting advanced solutions for thermal insulation, solar radiation control and air exchange. The integration of photovoltaic panels and resource recovery complete a sustainable and efficient approach. The new LICAM high school thus becomes a state-of-the-art educational centre, capable of responding to the needs of innovative teaching and contributing to urban regeneration.
