ASR 20/07 Highway A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria
The motorway section of the ASR20 between the Morano Calabro and Campotenese junctions has a length of about 11.1 km. The essential characteristics of the central axis correspond to those laid down in Norms C.N.R. 78/80, for the road type l/a, for which the design speed range is 110-140 km/h. The approved executive plan includes sections in a planimetric variant concerning the previous road; it is an adjustment and improvement of the last site motorway on two carriageways, to transform it into a section consisting of two lanes, an internal platform and an emergency lane with traffic divider. This stretch of motorway crosses the area of Monte Pollino at an altitude of 1,100 m s.l.m.
