With the demolition of the last diaphragm, the two excavation fronts of the Incahuasi Tunnel, the modern infrastructure connecting Bolivia to Argentina and facilitating trade between the two countries, have been connected. With a length of 1.26 kilometres, a width of 10 metres, a height of 8 metres and a clear span of 5 metres, the Incahuasi Tunnel is one of the largest in the country.
