An important step for the protection of the environment and the enhancement of the territory
Thanks to the intervention of the Extraordinary Commissioner for Illegal Dumps, the reclamation and permanent securing of the former Marinella landfill, on the Pizzo coastline, in an area of high landscape value, has been completed.
The intervention included

• Removal of the waste body
• Separation and screening of materials: 60% recovered for environmental restoration
• Reconstruction of the coastal dune with autochthonous planting
• Creation of a play area nearby (by the company)
