Community Home in the Hospital Complex of San Bassiano

The intervention is part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP), which is the national strategy for the Next Generation EU program, prepared by the European Union in response to the pandemic crisis. The Community Home (CdC), as provided in the PNRR, represents one of the competing elements in the realization of the territorial care network; it is the physical place of territorial health care, which is easy to locate and where the community can go to get in touch with the health and social health care systems. . The area affected by the construction of the new Community Home at the Hospital Complex of San Bassiano is the one located west of the existing hospital building, in the area south of the historic center of Bassano del Grappa. The layout of the main body of the building is characterized by an L shape arranged on several levels on the street side, this conformation creates the possibility of having many sides of the building facing outward and thus allows more natural light into the building.
