Road connection between the junction of the S.S. 514 with the S.S. 115 and the junction of the “Ragusana” with the S.S. 114

The service in question concerns the drafting of the Executive Project of the Road Connection Ragusa-Catania; in particular the modernization to N the 4 lanes of SS 514 “Chiaramonte” and SS 194 “Ragusana” from the junction with the SS 115 to the junction with the SS. 114. The objective of the project is to configure a fast and safe road link in the south-eastern sector of Sicily, along the route Ragusa – Catania, for the needs of management of the work and to ensure compliance with the general schedule it was decided to divide the intervention into 4 Functional lots. It is planned to build about 2.3 km in viaduct, while the most significant underground work is the Francofonte tunnel, about 0,8 km. The project involves the construction of 10 junctions connecting the new road and the second-level road network interfered, plus the interconnection with the motorway Catania – Syracuse.
