Cooprogetti joint with Geodata has signed a new contract with the Bolivian Public Road Society, relating to services of design review, and also technical, social, enviromental and management supervision for the construction of the Muyupampa gallery in the city of Chuquisaca.

It’s about a project of national importance for the economic growth and development of Bolivia, which is part of the integration corridor with the neighbouring countries of Paraguay and Argentina.

The project includes a 1.23 km double-track tunnel and 573 m of evacuation tunnel. The infrastructure will be equipped with appropriate technological facilities and systems such as signalling, drainage, ventilation, electricity, optical fiber, electronic systems and others. Outside of the tunnel will be performed a construction of roads which ones will be connected with the main road network. This work will be take approximately 25 months. Cooprogetti will involve professionals with high experience in similar projects.

The preliminary investment of the project is USD 40 million.
