Cooprogetti, one of Italy’s leading engineering companies, will celebrate its 50th anniversary on 12 June with an event bringing together all its Italian and South American offices through institutional, cultural and social moments dedicated to the company’s history and future. The day will begin with the National Assembly of Design and Engineering Cooperatives, hosted in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Gubbio. Institutional greetings will be delivered by Vittorio Fiorucci, Mayor of Gubbio; Stefania Proietti, President of the Umbria Region; Danilo Valenti, President of Legacoop Umbria; and Moreno Panfili, Vice President of Cooprogetti and member of the Presidency Council of Legacoop Nazionale Produzione e Servizi. The meeting will provide an opportunity to bring together the sector’s key stakeholders, strengthen professional networks and share common strategic visions. Discussions will focus on funding programmes, operational tools and the ongoing transformations affecting the industry, with particular attention to the role of new technologies in design and engineering processes. In the afternoon, at Cooprogetti’s headquarters, a garden dedicated to Valter Fabio Filippetti, the company’s historic founder and a symbolic figure embodying its core values, will be officially inaugurated. The celebrations will conclude in the evocative setting of the Park Hotel ai Cappuccini, with a gathering and the screening of a commemorative video recounting Cooprogetti’s history, values, projects and people through a journey spanning five decades of innovation, interdisciplinarity and shared vision.
