Yesterday, at the Regione Piemonte skyscraper, in the presence of Extraordinary Commissioner Marco Corsini, President of the Region Alberto Cirio, and the Mayor of Turin Stefano Lo Russo, the opening of the Conference of Services for the development of the Turin Health, Research and Innovation Park was announced. The hospital complex, dedicated to research and clinical training, will provide 1,040 beds across a total area of 140,000 square meters. It will include high-traffic spaces for diagnosis and treatment, an emergency and critical care platform, facilities for translational research and clinical training, and dedicated inpatient wards. The total investment amounts to approximately €600 million. Eng. Arch. Edoardo Filippetti, partner at Cooprogetti and project manager, presented the appointed design team (Cooprogetti, Sipal, SD Partners, Piscitelli), commissioned by Consorzio Stabile SIS and ABP Nocivelli to develop the executive design, and outlined the design schedule that will lead to the start of construction in 2027.
